A Little About Me

My Practice
I believe that our difficulties in different aspects of our lives; whether in relationships (family, romantic, children, colleagues), how we relate to ourselves, our mental and emotional health, intimacy and sexual relationships, or our sense of purpose and fulfillment; often stem from a fragmentation of self. This fragmentation typically comes from an over-identification with certain parts of us: ways of thinking or behaving shaped by our upbringing, as well as cultural and systemic factors we may not be aware of. These patterns often developed as ways to cope, driven by subconscious younger parts of us that believe this is how our needs will be met. Growth and fulfillment, in all areas, come from deeply understanding these different parts of you, listening to them without over-identifying with them, resolving internal conflicts, and reconnecting with your most authentic self: the part of you that intuitively knows how to respond to life in a way that feels aligned with your intentions, purpose, and values. I therefore see the route to change as a process of relating differently to the parts of you that are younger and in need of care, regaining a strong connection with yourself, and building the inner and interpersonal capacities needed to create lasting change. In my work, I’ve noticed that clients don’t always understand what is happening internally that supports their growth. Because of this, I sometimes incorporate psychoeducation, skill-building modules, and optional practices or reflections between sessions. This allows you to better understand developmental psychology, neuroscience, and the patterns that may be blocking or supporting you, while also gaining the tools needed to apply what we explore in sessions to your daily life. We know from neuroscience that change happens through consistency. Lasting shifts require repeated engagement; both inside and outside of sessions, and I support you in building that bridge. My approach is integrative and grounded in both psychological depth and practical application. I draw from psychodynamic, somatic, humanistic, and evidence-based coaching approaches, as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS), compassionate communication, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation.
What I'm Like
Clients describe me as warm, human, curious, and present. My priority is to create a space where you feel safe bringing all parts of yourself, especially the ones you want to understand, shift, or transform. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. My work is integrative, informed by psychodynamic, somatic, humanistic, and evidence-based coaching approaches, as well as IFS, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and communication approaches. My style is collaborative. You will have an active role in your process, while I guide you and, where helpful, share observations, reflections, and tools to support your growth. At times, I may gently challenge you, but always in a way that supports your intentions and respects your pace.

What Can You Expect From My Sessions

We will decide on the best approach based on our initial conversation and your unique situation. Some sessions will be more reflective and exploratory, others may involve emotional processing, while some focus on knowledge-building, skill development, or goal-setting. Overall, sessions are tailored to what you need in that moment, while keeping a clear direction toward your longer-term goals and the changes you want to create in your life.

Our first session

In our first session, we will explore the challenges you are currently facing and the goals you want to move toward. We will begin to understand what may be getting in the way, and I will learn more about your personal history and cultural context. We may start linking your current experiences to earlier patterns you’ve developed. I will also explain how I work and what the process can look like in more detail. I’m aware that starting this kind of work isn’t always easy, and my intention is to make this a supportive and grounded space for you to ease into the process at your own pace. The aim is for you to leave the first session with a bit more clarity, a sense of direction, and an initial feeling of whether this space is right for you.
