A Little About Me

My Practice
I am a clinical psychologist with training in CBT and psychodynamic approaches. I work primarily with adults and adolescents. My passion lies in assisting you in achieving a sense of authenticity and uniqueness. I will accompany you like a travel guide who has the means to make your therapeutic journey safe. I will invite you to take a leap of faith into emotionally new areas while holding a kind of borrowed faith for you.
What I'm Like
My approach varies with each client. Your individual characteristics influence the therapeutic strategies I use, and no single path of therapeutic change applies to all.

What Can You Expect From My Sessions

Some sessions might feel more exploratory, focused on processing emotions or making sense of your experiences, while others may feel more intentional and goal oriented, depending on where you are along your therapeutic journey.

Our first session

Your first few session(s) is really around me getting to know you and setting the tone for our work together. I will ask you what brought you to in and ask you to share anything that you feel is important for me to know about you. We will eventually agree on therapeutic goals and I will take some time to explain how therapy will work, what our sessions might look like, and answer any questions you may have.
