A Little About Me

My Practice
I’m a psychotherapist grounded in both evidence-based and psychodynamic approaches. My practice is deeply rooted in compassion, collaboration, and clinical integrity. I believe that therapy should be both a safe space for exploration and a place where real, meaningful change happens. I’m particularly drawn to working with individuals who are navigating complex transitions, including expatriates, professionals under pressure, and those recovering from trauma. My work integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and elements of Mentalization-Based Treatment, allowing me to tailor interventions that support both symptom relief and deeper self-understanding. Whether someone is facing anxiety, burnout, PTSD, or relationship challenges, my aim is to meet them where they are and help them move toward where they want to be.
What I'm Like
Clients often describe me as warm, insightful, and grounded. My style is integrative: I can be reflective and exploratory when depth is needed, but also structured and solution-focused when clear steps are more helpful. I value authenticity and connection in the therapeutic relationship, and I’m not afraid to incorporate gentle humour when it fits — therapy doesn’t have to feel clinical to be effective. I approach each client with curiosity and respect, always attuned to their unique context and pace. Having lived and worked internationally, I bring a multicultural lens to my practice and strive to create an inclusive, judgment-free space for people from all walks of life.

What Can You Expect From My Sessions

You can expect sessions with me to be thoughtful, personalized, and collaborative. Some sessions may be goal-oriented, especially when we’re working on specific difficulties like managing panic or setting boundaries. Other times, we might take a more open, explorative approach to uncover patterns or emotional blocks that are getting in your way. From the outset, I work with clients to establish clarity around what they hope to gain from therapy. I balance empathy with clinical precision, ensuring our work is both meaningful and effective. You can also expect a strong ethical foundation and respect for your pace, values, and voice throughout our time together.

Our first session

Your first session with me is a gentle starting point — a space where we can get to know each other and begin to understand what brings you to therapy. There’s no pressure to tell your whole story at once; we’ll move at your pace. I’ll ask some questions to get a sense of your experiences, current challenges, and what you’d like to get out of our work together. You’re also welcome to ask questions of your own — therapy is a two-way process, and feeling comfortable with your therapist is essential. By the end of the session, we’ll begin to shape a shared understanding of your needs and outline some potential goals for our work ahead. My intention is for you to leave feeling heard, respected, and a little more grounded about what therapy with me might look like.
